That’s the special ending to Shepherds, Rejoice!, one of the hymns from my Christmas CD. I wrote it as an attempt to place the Gospel faithfully and creatively into one simple chorus. However, it has become my battle-cry over the last two weeks! There’s not a day, or really, an hour, that goes by that this isn’t running through my head…if not on my lips. It might not be perfect, it may not really fit the song, but God has used it to encourage and embolden me through some difficult, Gospel decisions. I hope it might do the same for you.
